Professor Carolyn Stevens, Monash University
Professor Carolyn Stevens currently teaches in the Asian Studies and International Studies programs as well as the Japanese language program at Monash University. She has a long-standing research interest in social problems in Japan, including topics such as disability and poverty. The most recent articles written by Professor Stevens focus on the sensory anthropology and ethnography of Japan, with additional works published in the area of pop music and consumerism in post-war the post war era of Japan.
